What is Stickzee?
Stickzeeis also known as Frisnock, Beer Frisbee, Beersby, Beersbie, Polish Horseshoes, or Spanish Horseshoes or any other name that people make up, there is even a trademarked version called Beersbee (TM). It's a relatively new leisure sport which involves throwing an ultimate disc back and forth while trying to knock over a can or bottle that has been placed on a stick. This is the perfect game to play at the beach, lake, or anywhere outdoors. All you need is a couple players (2 or 4), 2 poles, and 2 empty cans or bottles, and an ultimate disc. 

2 players from the same team stand behind their stick. The two teams throw the ultimate disc back and forth aiming to knock the can or bottle over. The players must catch the disc and the bottle or can. If either touch the ground, points are awarded to the throwing team. The only way to score is if you throw the ultimate disc and the other team does not catch it, or if the can or bottle touches the ground.

Materials:

- Ultimate disc (1) - 175 gram.
- Area of play - alley, beach, parking lot, backyard, anywhere!
- Frisbeer sticks (2) - Average beersbee stick size is approx. 4ft tall

How to Build Your Own Stickzee Set:
1) Go buy ultimate disc. You can buy your regulation ultimate disc here.
2) Purchase PVC pipe from a hardware store. Cut it to 4ft. Attach a platform to the top. Attach legs to the bottom.

The History of Stickzee:
This tossing game has existed at campgrounds and ultimate frisbee tournaments for years. No one person invented this game similar to many other drinking games. If you disagree... send us an email. Show us how you "invented Frisbeer"

How to Play Stickzee:

  1. Set up the sticks across from one another. Teammates stay together. Place can or bottle on platform.
  2. The ultimate disc will be tossed back and forth from one team to the other.
  3. If the can or bottle is knocked down and hits the ground = 2 points.
  4. If the ultimate disc is a "catchable throw" and the disc is dropped = 1 point.
  5. Keep playing until one team scores 21 points to win the game. Win by 2

Stickzee strategies:
- Fast flick - some people throw it incredibly hard so the other team has a hard time catching the disc
- Accurate toss - others just focus on hitting the can to get those 2 points
- Aim for stick - sometimes a disc hitting the stick will knonk over the can or bottle. If it is too low this will result in an uncatchable throw but at least you will get the 2 points.
- Defense - It is important to catch both the disc and the can. Defensive assignments can help!
