If you would like to join a local Polish Horseshoes League you have come to the right place. The Day of Games offers a Leisure Sports League that features Stickzee as one of its primary events. Rather than playing Stickzee (aka - Polish Horseshoes, beer frisbee, frisbeer, frisnock, frizbeer, beersbie, beerzbee, and even a beersbee (TM version)) over and over again, you can play Polish Horseshoes as well as many other fun tossing games. Leagues are currently springing up in Los Angeles, San Diego, San Franciso, Portland, Seattle, Denver, Dallas, Chicago, Miami, and New York.

Polish Horseshoes Rules
There are of course complete Polish Horseshoes rules that you will not find here. Polish Horseshoes is a simple game so the rules should be simple as well.

Concept: Offense - Throw disc at stick. Hit can or bottle. Defense - Catch disc, catch can or bottle.

Teams: 2

Materials: 1 disc, 2 cans, 2 sticks

Scoring: 2 points if can touches ground. 1 point if the disc is dropped. The thrown disc must be catchable. The pairs set up across from each other (unlike horseshoes - stick with your teammate). Fling the frisbee at your opponents and aim for the stick. If you hit the can you are halfway there. If the can hits the ground... 2 points! If the other team also drops the disc... 1 more point! You can only score points on offense. You can only score points if items hit the ground. On defense your goal is to catch all "catchable" discs and also to catch the can or bottle.

Win: First team to (21) wins. This score can be changed to whatever you want... sometimes 11, 16, or 21.

Why Play Polish Horseshoes ?
It makes your arms stronger. It is a better workout than yoga. Flicking a disc is awesome. The cool kids are doing it. Everyone likes to knock things over. If you throw it hard enough you can try and cut the can in half. You can practice your ninja skills. Winning is fun. Polish Horseshoes generally involves an upcoming beer.
